Game Development

So far I’ve only been posting about robotics, but another topic I tend to geek out about is game development. In my time at Electronic Arts – Tiburon I carved a niche for myself in the mysterious art of asset pipelines. And just a few weeks ago the new semester at Seminole Community College started, where I’m teaching a brand-new Game Programming course.

I’m pretty jazzed up about the class. We’re using C# and Managed DirectX, and with the recent beta release of XNA Game Studio Express, it seems like the perfect time for newcomers to enter the fray.

I’m going to start posting some XNA example code, stay tuned…
